Going Above and Beyond

We’re proud to offer the Oncology Navigator Program, a groundbreaking service launched in 2010. The program is designed exclusively for cancer patients receiving care at our health system. The Oncology Navigator is a registered nurse who is specifically trained in cancer care and trained to help patients and their loved ones navigate the healthcare system. Our Oncology Navigators go above and beyond to ensure that our patients receive first-class care close to home. All navigation services are offered at no cost to patients.

The Oncology Navigator is responsible for:

• Guiding patients through the medical experience
• Providing emotional support during a stressful time
• Supporting patients through diagnosis and treatment
• Helping connect patients with community resources
• Offering support and education
• Assisting in getting answers to their questions
